This is the book of and about one of the true pioneers of the Disco, Dance and Club scenes.
Mel Cheren were the Head of Productions at the legendary Scepter Records, were he "invented" a couple of things that would change the music business forever... The instrumental B-side and the 12" single. For stuff like that he won Billboard Magazine's Trendsetter of the year award.
When Scepter closed down he started the even more legendary Disco label - WestEnd Records, which ruled the Disco and Dance music scene for 10 years.
He was also the lover of Michael Brody, so the Paradise Garage was like his second home.
